Where did you grow up? What was it like?
In Shakopee, MN. I had a great childhood with lots of friends and family close by. Shakopee was a great place to grow up, it was not a huge city like it is now, but it had a lot to offer. I liked it a lot.

Why do you live in the Brainerd Lakes Area? What do you like most about it?
My parents and grandparents moved up here, just when they thought they could get away...and I followed. We are a close family and the free babysitters are hard to find :) When I moved up here in 2003 I realized this is where I will stay and raise my family. I have 5 beautiful children and wouldn't want them to grow up anywhere else. As you get older you appreciate things in life so much different and it's truly amazing up here.

What is your favorite lake? Why?
Pelican Lake. We stayed there growing up and I have a lot of good childhood memories there. The nice sand beaches and blue waters are truly amazing.

What is your favorite part of working in Real Estate?
The excitement and process of helping people find that perfect home. Whether it's first time home buyers or second homes. I love looking at homes and seeing what's on the market...Every home is different.

What is the most unusual thing you have encountered while working in Real Estate?
Going to the wrong house that had the same house # as the one across the street was interesting. It was the exact same house style, color, builder and everything...the only difference was "SW" and "SE." The home owners were surprised to see us walking into their house when it wasn't on the market. It was actually quite funny.

Why should someone choose you as their real estate agent?
I am a very honest person and WILL NOT tell you what you want to hear. I will get the right information and go out of my way for you even if it means a sale will not happen. I don't want anyone to say they had a bad experience with me or that I wasn't honest with them. Sad to say, but I've come across a lot of realtors in my career that are not honest and are just plain ruthless - that's not me. I'm not a pushy person as I don't like pushy people. I have a lot of lifetime friends that started out as my clients. This is because of my commitment to help my clients have the best buying and/or selling experience possible. When I meet with you, I want you to have a comfortable feeling with me. This is a special time in your life and I would love being part of that experience.
