Where did you grow up? What was it like?
I grew up in Minnesota. I was born in St. Paul and spent my childhood living on Forest Lake - we moved to Turtle River north of Bemidji in my teens. I enjoyed being on the water at Forest Lake and Turtle River Lake. I enjoy the four seasons in Minnesota (fishing, icefishing, snowmobiling and watersking).

Why do you live in the Brainerd Lakes Area? What do you like most about it?
My husband and I have always liked the Brainerd Lakes region. The area has unique specialty stores, great restaurants and offers us country living just 2 to 2.5 hours from the cities. We like it here because we have the option of picking from different beautiful lakes and enjoying attractions like Brainerd International Speedway. During the winter, there is great icefishing and snowmobile trails that will take you from one town to another. Brainerd Lakes area offers us so many choices to chose from.

What is your favorite lake? Why?
If I had to pick a favorite lake, it would have to be Lake Shamineau. Lake Shamineau has 21ft of water clarity and is known for being a great fishing lake. Every winter it is where we place our fishhouse. (One of my favorite sports is icefishing. I find it very relaxing!)

What is your favorite part of working in Real Estate?
Meeting new people and sharing their hopes and dreams. I enjoy getting to know my clients and helping them to find the right home for them.

What is the most unusual thing you have encountered while working in Real Estate?
That most people looking to purchase homes, do not know how valuable it is to be pre-quaified.

Why should someone choose you as their real estate agent?
I WORK FOR LAKEPLACE.COM! But there is more. I listen to what my clients' desires are and search for that perfect property for them. I take my time to walk them through the process of selling or buying a home (or piece of land) from beginning to the end. I help buyers to understand the process of how important it is to be pre-qualified to purchase a home. I help my clients prepare for a smooth closing of the transaction.
