Where did you grow up? What was it like?
I grew up in Hopkins, Minnesota "The Raspberry Capitol of the World." It is a suburb of Minneapolis and a great hometown. People would come from miles around to cruise up and down Mainstreet. The Raspberry festival was always the best - it is the 2nd largest parade in Minnesota after the Aquatennial.

Why do you live in the Brainerd Lakes Area? What do you like most about it?
I relocated to Emily, MN in 2009, just 5 years after I purchased my 2nd home in the woods. I have always been an outdoor enthusiast. I of course love the woods and the quiet that it provides as a contrast to the cities, and with the internet, shopping is still easy. There are enough small businesses hear to accommodate my needs and the time I do not spend in traffic has probably added years to my life!

What is your favorite lake? Why?
My favorite lake is North Star lake in Marcell, MN where our family cabin is located. I love to fish and belong to a Women's Fishing Club that holds an annual tournament each year. I have placed 2 times so far. I also think Thunder lake is one of the prettiest lakes I have ever seen!

What is your favorite part of working in Real Estate?
It humbles me. I find it so rewarding when someone puts their trust in me to help them with the next step in their life...and I love to talk to people!

What is the most unusual thing you have encountered while working in Real Estate?
Nothing unusual. It's all different and unique each and every transaction. That is what keeps me coming back. I learn so much!

Because I love to develop relationships with people for life. I will always value your opinion and respect your wishes with your journey to buy or sell you home. I also have 10 years of experience in sales and appraisals.
