Where did you grow up? What was it like?
I grew up in Southern California. I graduated from Hawthorne High School (alma mater of the Beach Boys) in Hawthorne CA. It was a great place to grow up. My cousins were close by and near the same age so we played sports, played and listened to music and spent a lot of time at the beach.

Why do you live in the Brainerd Lakes Area? What do you like most about it?
I live in Fifty Lakes and have lived here with my wife and two daughters for over 30 years. I love the small town atmosphere and the golf!

What is your favorite lake? Why?
East and West Fox are my favorite lakes. I raised my family on West Fox and I can count the years by the number of sunsets I have experienced.

What is your favorite part of working in Real Estate?
I like the challenge of finding the right Buyer for the perfect property.

What is the most unusual thing you have encountered while working in Real Estate?
We sold a property on the Cross Lake/WFC and we ran into an issue with an eagle's nest that has since been used in a case study. The Federal Fish and Wildlife management from St. Paul were involved and I learned how the bird and the nest are protected even IF the eagle is a real nuisance. Great learning experience.

Why should someone choose you as their real estate agent?
My wife and I work together on many listings so you would get two for the price of one. I have over 30 years of experience in real estate sales, and my wife Lorie has been in the business for more than 15 years. Plus - we live here, know the people and the area well.
